At last I can see the reality now and it all makes sense. Finally I know what I need to know.
She didn’t love me, she was just telling me what I wanted to hear. Then she went and told him what he wanted to hear.
She’s been doing it all of her life.

Thank you so much for this. I have been tearing myself apart trying to work out what happened. Now I know.

Believe your gut. Write down everything you believe is true, then write down everything that they told you was true. Keep doing it. Keep revisiting your journal. Do this until your mind, heart and gut are on the same page. Find a non co dependent friend, but better still a Councelor . Speak the truth and listen to yourself.

Get the book co dependent no more. Also, don’t forget about the spiritual abuse. When darkness Tears you apart, run to the creator of your soul. Lean heavily on the Lord. Somehow some way he will guide you to the other side

Leslie, I just happened upon this page. I can relate. I am so sorry you are in this pain. This article is helpful. Once you start researching for help it’s time. It’s time to see that the person you thought you were in love with is not real. Nothing about them or your relationship is real. I’m sorry. You must move on. You must find the strength. You are worth it. In time you will wake up and say you wish you could get the time back you wasted on being sad. Sad about a relationship that only existed in your head. It hurts. I just feel stuck. I know I got to end this but I always think it’s going to change. I’m going crazy. I read everything I can on this but I’m so weak to him. He’s like my drug of choice. I need help.
